About Vitale Health

Vitale Health, founded by Elizabeth Scott-Moncrieff, uses personalised nutritional strategies, incorporating the principles of Functional Medicine (see below) and NLP coaching to support the health, well-being and exercise goals of her clients. Elizabeth is a registered Nutritional Therapist, who seeks to inform and educate on the importance of optimal nutrition and other lifestyle factors to long term health, management of chronic conditions and sporting achievement.  She works on the basis that each person is unique and all programmes are individually tailored to support optimised outcomes.

She believes that keeping up to date with high quality scientific research and information is of fundamental importance and continually reviews the relevance of her recommendations to each individual that she works with.

Her particular interests include digestive health and autoimmune conditions, with a focus on giving her clients the support they need to manage their health and support their goals.

Her personal interest in sport and specialised training in this area, also leads her to welcome those wishing to support their physical goals through nutrition. She leads the MSc module in sports nutrition at CNELM.

"Supporting my clients to achieve their goals is highly motivating and I love what I do.  Each programme is unique to the inidividual and the outcomes they are seeking".

Functional Medicine
This is an approach developed by the U.S. based 'Institute for Functional Medicine'.  It is a whole body approach, which looks beyond symptoms to the underlying imbalances and unique individual factors, which may underpin them.
It aims to achieve rebalance and support body systems to work better together. Family history, together with the entire life of an individual are considered in the context of their potential influence on current health.
